The one that matters
- 01Bench-test every new FC and ESC on a smoke stopper before it sees a battery.
- 02Check prop rotation direction against your motor layout — not against the last build.
- 03Set failsafe to DROP, not to hover, unless you are flying over water you can swim in.
- 04Confirm VTX is on the right band and power before you power up near other pilots.
- 05Cell-check the pack. A single cell below 3.3V under load is the whole flight, ruined.
- 06Range-test at low altitude, walking away, before you commit to a line.
